“Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale”

-Hans Christian Anderson

Hi , I’m Kerry, and my journey as a celebrant has been deeply influenced by over 30 years of experience as a Nurse/Midwife. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to witness the diverse tapestry of human experiences and emotions. From the profound joy of bringing new life into the world to the delicate task of comforting those nearing the end of their journey, my role as a caregiver has endowed me with a profound understanding of human emotions and the art of empathetic communication.

As a celebrant, I bring this wealth of experience and compassion into crafting personalised ceremonies that honour the unique stories and journeys of every individual. The ability to connect with people from all walks of life, to empathise with their joys and sorrows, and to celebrate their milestones with sincerity, is at the core of my practice.
My background has honed my ability to create a safe and nurturing space for those I work with, ensuring that every ceremony is not only beautifully orchestrated but also deeply meaningful and reflective of the individuals involved. Whether it's a wedding, a vow renewal, a baby blessing, or a memorial service, I approach each occasion with a blend of warmth, professionalism, and a profound respect for the human experience along with a little humour too!

In essence, my dual roles in healthcare and a celebrant have allowed me to weave together the art of caregiving with the art of ceremony, creating a holistic approach to celebrating life's most precious moments. It is an honour and a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families, listening to their stories, and stitching them into heartfelt ceremonies that will be cherished for years to come.

If you're seeking a celebrant who not only brings expertise and experience but also a deep well of compassion and understanding, I would be honoured to guide you through the creation of a ceremony that reflects the uniqueness of your journey and makes lasting memories that you will look back on with pride.
